Setting up discount groups for products and services 

Different customers can receive different discounts for some or all products or services. You can automate this process by creating Discount groups. Discounts groups allow you to set up lists of discounts for each product or service and you can even assign separate discounts for different quantities.


Creating a quote for a customer 

To start the sales process, you can create a quote for a customer.

Deleting a price list 

Your price lists typically finish on the End date that you specify when setting them up. However, you can also delete a price list if it is no longer needed or if you created it in error. Before removing a price list, make sure it isn’t associated to a customer or used in a sales


Removing products or services from a price list temporarily or permanently 

There are two ways to remove a product or service from a price list:
Permanently: by deleting it from the price list.
Temporarily: by turning it inactive in the price list. The product or service can later be reactivated.



Advice for importing products and services 

When importing products or services, the CSV file you will be importing needs to be in compliance with the template you downloaded through Sage Active. The CSV file needs to contain the correct information.


Deleting a sales document 

Under normal circumstances, you can delete a sales document after creating it. However, there are specific circumstances where it is not possible to delete the document. You cannot delete the following documents:  A document linked to another document. For example: A quote from which an order was generated. An order from which a delivery note
