Excluding a product or service from a document type


You can lock a product or service to prevent its inclusion in orders, delivery notes or invoices. To do this, you need to select which types of document you want to exclude a product or service from when creating or editing the product or service:

  1. Access Products and services.

      Sales > Products and services

  2. Edit the product or service ( ).
  3. Under Sales document management, activate the switch of the sales documents you want to exclude the product or service from.
  4. Save the changes.
Locking versus deactivating
When you lock a product or service for one document, you make the product or service invisible in the selection of products and services when creating that particular document type only. However, when you deactivate a product or service you make it invisible in the selection of products and services when creating any document type.
