Attaching documents to journal entries


Attach documents to existing journal entries in order to guarantee traceability, compliance but also to justify transactions.

Authorised document formats are:

  • PDF
  • Word (doc, docx, rtf, etc.)
  • Excel (xslx, xls, xlsm, slk, csv, etc.)
  • PowerPoint (ppt)
  • Outlook message
  • Archive (zip)
  • Text (txt)
  • Image (jpg, jpeg, png, gif, bmp, svg, tif, tiff, psd, heic, heif, etc.)
  • XML

 

Empty files
Empty files, without any information or content, cannot be attached to journal entries.
 
Private browsing / cookies
To avoid errors when loading documents in a private browser, authorise the sdb.sage.fr cookie.
 
 

To attach a document:

  1. Access the journal entries.

    Accounting > Journal entries

  2. Select a Journal, a Fiscal year and a period to find the journal entry that you want to attach a document to.
    The list of entries corresponding to the selection is displayed.
  3. Edit the chosen entry ( ).
  4. Use the function View or attach files.
  5. In the window that appears, add a document by dragging and dropping.
  6. Add a Title and if needed a Description.
  7. Add the document.

To see the documents you attached to the journal entry, use the View or attach files feature again.
